Music Research at the OU You can find out about individuals' research by following the link for staff. Music research at the OU encompasses a number of sub-disciplines, including psychology and acoustics, and extends from the Music Department to the Faculties of Social Science and Technology. The strength of our research lies in high-profile individual projects and publications that coalesce around key themes, relating above all to the study of ‘performance’. Individual research projects run alongside several large-scale, externally funded, collaborative projects, such as ‘G.F.Handel: The Collected Documents’ and ‘Experience and Meaning in Music Performance’ (EMMP).
