Degree Week: Dream Jobs

Degree Week which started 10th August is a week long programme set up by The Open University to provide help and guidance to those planning on degree study. August is a key month for any would-be student, a month when he/she decides on whether to enrol for an autumn start. A difficult decision and with a number of things to consider such as cost, the time commitment, and balancing study with home and work life.

A survey by The Open University of 1000 adults in Germany, The Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland revealed how approximately 60% of adults are not in their dream jobs, and interestingly what those dream jobs are!

Surpisingly high rankings were 'Travel Journalist' in Ireland, 'Actor' for Germany and 'Vet' for Dutch adults.
