Home Working Infographic: Work From Home Week 2015

This week (19-25th January 2015) is ‘Work From Home Week’ in the UK. Set up to ‘get employers and employees thinking about the option of working from home’, 2015’s Work From Home Week aims to highlight the benefits of home working, including avoiding lengthy commuting times.

The latest statistics available from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reveal some interesting trends in the number of people now actively working from home. Although two thirds of home workers are self-employed, there is a growing trend in companies allowing their employees to work from home.

The Open University offers flexible and supported distance and open learning worldwide, and technology is now allowing more businesses and their employees to work flexibly from home.
